Vijay is a software engineer working at Microsoft. He works on the Outlook client for macOS, and has in the past worked on the iOS and macOS clients for Microsoft Word.
Before his time at Microsoft he studied at the University of California Irvine, where he obtained his PhD and Masters in Software Engineering. Vijay’s doctoral research looked at software program analysis, focusing on the data and control flows through executions in Java systems. He is also interested in, and works on software visualizations. Vijay continues to collaborate and publish software engineering research in his spare time.
